MISSION STATEMENT

The Mission of the Catholic Community of St. Francis Xavier is to be a life-giving community of faith, worship, love and service which proclaims the good news of Jesus Christ.

Our community is committed to some notable priorities:

To experience God as a celebrating community through the sacrament of liturgy empowered by the Holy Spirit.
To provide a dynamic, scripture-based program of religious education which enables us to understand the Christian Message and our religious traditions and which prepares us for the challenges of Christian living.
To maintain an active outreach program which responds compassionately to the needs of the disadvantaged and the members of our community.
To evangelize, that is to be constantly seeking opportunities to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to our world.

We seek active participation and a strong commitment from members of all ages. We are committed to be open and responsive to input from members of our community.
