Little Blue Book – Available at church in the Gathering Space. Take a break and read a little inspirational idea each day in Advent. Grab one and give yourself the gift of a few minutes of quiet each day leading up to Christmas.
Nativity Play – Great opportunity for children. Speaking and singing parts available. The Nativity Play leads us into Christmas Eve Mass, held at 3:30 p.m. at the Delta Marriott. To Learn more, click here
Advent Family Fun Night – Friday, November 30, 6 – 8 p.m. Bring your family for pizza, prayer and fun as we discover what Advent is all about! Make your own Advent calendar, scavenger hunt bingo and Nativity photo booth! We are asking each family to bring a salad or dessert.
Giving Tree – Take a tag off the giving tree and purchase the item listed. Bring the gift back (unwrapped) and place it under the tree in the Gathering Space. All items due back by Sunday, December 9th. The gifts go to Sarah’s Hope, an emergency shelter and support service located on Mount Street in Baltimore City, Transfiguration Parish, a diverse Catholic community in southwest Baltimore and our needy families identified by our Outreach and Advocacy Group.
Adopt-a-Family: Sign up at church to help a needy senior of family from St. Gregory the Great Parish in Baltimore City. Drop off your gifts by Saturday, December 15th and we take the truckload of presents to our sister parish. The gifts requested range from clothes to Giant gift cards for food.
Sandwich Making: Saturday, December 8th from 8:30 to 10 a.m. in the Gathering Space. Come make PB&J sandwiches for Our Daily Bread located in downtown Baltimore. We supply the PB&J, volunteers are asked to bring loaves of white bread.
Advent Wreath – Sign up in the Gathering Space to light the Advent wreath at one of our weekend Masses. Individuals and families encouraged to take part!
Christmas Carol Festival – Welcome the Christmas season with favorite Carols, Real Christmas Cookies and a Chili Cook off! Saturday, December 8th at 6:00 p.m. in our Parish Hall. To sign up or lean more, click here
Christmas Caroling at Broadmead – Sunday, December 16th from 1 to 3 p.m., use your voice to sing and give good cheer to the senior residents of the Broadmead Retirement Community located at 13801 York Road.
Advent Confessions – Tuesday, December 18th from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in our chapel.
