ADULT CONFIRMATION
A fully-initiated Catholic is a person who has received the three sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist. For various reasons, quite a few adult Catholics have not yet been confirmed.
At 2:00 p.m. on October 28, 2018, at the Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (409 Cathedral Street, Baltimore), Bishop Adam Parker will confer the Sacrament of Confirmation on already baptized adult Catholics. BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE – ALL SOULS DAY
Friday, November 2, is All Souls Day when the Catholic Church remembers all those who have gone before us in death. After the observance of All Souls Day, the entire month of November continues in the same spirit.
During this month of October, there is available inside the front entrance of the church, the parish’s “Book of Remembrance.” All of us are invited to write in this book the names of deceased family members, relatives, friends, and others. Then, during the month of November, this Book of Remembrance will stand in a place of honor near the Baptismal Font and the Easter Candle.
