Catholic Scripture Study (CSS) is an apostolate within the Archdiocese of Baltimore, approved by Cardinal Keeler in 2000. It’s gathers women together to study the Word of God in a meaningful way with the objective to share the life and love of Jesus through the study of the Bible.
We meet on Tuesday mornings and watch a DVD and then break into smaller groups to study the lesson covered in the DVD. Over the past 15 years, we have studied the gospels of Matthew and John, Genesis, Exodus, Ephesians, Galatians, The Psalms, Acts of the Apostles, and several of Fr. Robert Barron’s works.
We have a children’s program that involves 2-5 year olds in age appropriate Bible stories. We also have a Mom’s group where Moms with little ones too young to separate from Mom meets in their own group. New participants are welcome each September.
