Sandwich Making

Every second Saturday of the month, we make sandwiches to feed over 400 homeless people who live in the woods around Essex. Volunteers are asked to bring (6) loaves of white bread and, if possible, 1 jar of jam (any flavor, not jelly) and 1 jar of creamy peanut butter. We start at 8:30am. and are usually done by 10:00am. We meet in the lower hall. All are welcome!

If interested but can’t make it, please consider donating those supplies. We have learned that these people are also in great need of daily necessities such as personal hygiene products, blankets, clothing, used camping equipment, and more. For a complete list, please see the Outreach & Advocacy page on our website*. Donations can be dropped off the morning we make the sandwiches.

We make the sandwiches in the church hall, located in the lower level of the church. Everybody welcome!

For any questions about helping out, please contact the Parish Office – 410-785-0356.
