eucharistic adoration“The Blessed Sacrament is not Something, it is Someone!”
—Fr. Robert A. Goedert, OP

Eucharistic Adoration is held in the Chapel of the Catholic Community of St. Francis Xavier on the first Wednesday of the month immediately following our 12:10 Mass. It culminates with Benediction at 6:45 pm. People are invited to come to pray and worship Jesus continually throughout the afternoon.

Next date for Eucharistic Adoration: Wednesday, June 3rd.

What is Eucharistic Adoration?
Eucharistic Adoration is the adoration of Jesus Christ present in the Holy Eucharist. It is a devotional practice that dates back to 13th century. It is an opportunity for prayer and meditation; for praise and thanksgiving; for reverencing and remembering Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.

During adoration, the Eucharist is displayed in a special holder called a monstrance. He loves us without limit, without condition, and every time we celebrate liturgy, He offers Himself to us in the Eucharist. Can we not give Jesus a few minutes of love and adoration in return?
