In 2014, with the help of thousands of volunteers from dozens of groups, organizations, businesses, churches, schools, families, neighborhoods, etc., First Fruits Farm grew, harvested and distributed over 1.5 million pounds of fresh produce to the hungry — people in need in Pennsylvania, Maryland, DC and even Virginia. The veggies go primarily to soup kitchens, food pantries and homeless shelters. We operate on over 200 acres in 6 different locations in Northern Baltimore County, including on some land owned by the Archdiocese of Baltimore in Sparks.
CCSFX will visit First Fruits on Friday, August 14 as part of Summer Camp.
