The Stations of the Cross, or the Way of the Cross, is a Catholic devotion that commemorates the day of Jesus’ crucifixion. There are 14 devotions, or stations.

The stations are commonly used as a mini pilgrimage as the individual moves from station to station. At each station, the individual recalls and meditates on a specific event from Christ’s last day.  Specific prayers are recited, then the individual moves to the next station until all 14 are complete.

The Stations of the Cross can be found in our church along the walls of our Worship Space. The stations are most commonly prayed during Lent on Wednesdays and Fridays, especially on Good Friday,

This Lent, we are encouraging our parish to pray The Way of the Cross: A Prayer for Hope and Healing Amidst a Global Pandemic on Friday evenings at 7 pm.  If this time is not convenient, pray whenever it works for you –
alone or with your spouse, children and/or housemates.

Below is the written script which you may use alone or along with the video presentation.
Print this script out and join your community in prayer.
