Eucharistic Ministers assist the priest at Mass in administering the Eucharist, the consecrated bread and wine. They may also take Communion to those who are ill, or otherwise unable to attend Mass, and lead weekday Communion services. Those who are called to this ministry must, above all else, know how to be truly present to others in the moment.

To be a Eucharistic Minister, one must be at least 16 years old, a fully initiated Roman Catholic who has received the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist and, if married, must have received the Sacrament of Marriage in the Catholic Church. Ministry formation and training sessions are offered throughout the year.
